Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society (Mar 2022): in “Societally Derived or Studiously Prosecuted? God, Revelation, Education and David Payne:” Dr. Christopher Sarver tells of Rev. Payne’s establishment of the Wilberforce University, the first black-established-and-own university. A seminary will arise alongside it. Anglican Theological Review (Aug 2022): “Editors Introduction:” this edition is dedicated to historical retrieval on Archbishop Tutu. Tutu’s governing premise, we are told, is social transfiguration. Table Talk (September 2022): “Exodus 23:” the rules of sacrifice which forbids drinking the blood of the sacrificed animal. Wonder how that informs the blood-munchy-crunchers? A basic question. Table Talk (Oct 2022): “Lost Virtues: Humility:” Dr. William Barclay outlines the vastness of this call and duty in the Scriptures. Table Talk (Nov 2022): “Editorial:” Rev. Calvin Theological Journal (Spring 2022): in “Sign or Seal: Baptism in the Christian Reformed Church,” Dr. Ryan Faber continues to defend presumptive regeneration, a position that would please most Anglicans. A high sacramentology informs the GKN and CRC. Mid-America Journal of Theology (Fall 2021): in “The Voice of One Crying: John Chrysostom the Preacher,” Dr. Gordon McMillan notes how Chrysostom challenged, repeatedly, Empress Eudoxia. Global Anglican (Summer 2022): “Obedience and Submission in 1 Peter,” Dr. Lionel Windsor of Moore College begins by discussing the difficulty of the concepts in the 21st century in view of colonialism and patriarchy. “The Fundamentals—A Testimony to the Truth, Vol. 1: “Chapter 4: The Bible and Modern Criticism, Professor F. Bettex of Stuttgart cites many verses showing the inspiration of the Bible.
