He served as Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church from 1857 to 1862. [1] Grave of Charles Hughes Terrot, Warriston Cemetery Charles Terrot was born on 19 September 1790 at Cuddalore . He was educated at Carlisle Grammar School and Trinity College, Cambridge , where he graduated BA in 1812. He became a Fellow of Trinity in 1813.
