Millard Erickson, Ph.D.: "Christian Theology:" Ch.9--Inspiration, 213ff.

Extent of inspiration—verbal and plenary. Intensiveness of inspiration—providential preparation of the writers, thoughts and words. Jot and tittle inspiration is under review—fine points from arguments from minutiae: John 10.35 and Psalm 82.6; Mt.22.36 and Ex.3.6; Mt.22.44 with the possessive suffix; Gal.3.16 and Gen.12.7. Pp. 199-220. We would add that much, much more can be and should be said in the advocacy of God talking to humans--done with infinite ease.
