Millard Erickson, Ph.D.: "Christian Theology," Ch.13--God's Goodness, 28...

13. The Goodness of God—Dr. Erickson discuss God moral qualities--holiness, righteousness and justice. Under a sub-category of integrity he handles genuineness, veracity and faithfulness. He introduces but doesn’t answer the question as he moves to love—a predominant attribute? Such a question suggests some hierarchy in God which is highly problematic on a preliminary take. We know what the Marcionites and liberal cut-throats in liberal seminaries do, amputating God’s other attributes so they can serve up sippy cups of syrup to those in their theological jammies holding their teddy bears. He seems like such a nice man refusing to stop the theological cut-throats in high places. Such a shame!
