Scriptural revelation as propositional or personal?

This volume is definitely not recommended. No exegesis of any note or significance. Very little if any church history. I don't think this Baptist writer has a Confessional or liturgical bone in his body. He adequately summarizes Barth, Brunner, Barr and others, but passingly. Plus, far too verbose. One is shaped and conditioned by his training and what he reads and prays. Again,  bottom shelf.
