Trinity Journal (TEDS, Spring 2022): in “The Ancient Church Calendar,” Dr. Philip Derstine discusses Nisan 15-21 following the Passover. Anglican and Episcopal History (June 2022): in “Archbishop Michael Ramsey and the Lambeth Conference,” Dr. PETER WEBSTER notes that Ramsey was an Anglo-Catholic and deals with the evangelical conservative from Australian, Marcus Loane. The Anglican-Methodist reunion scheme causes tensions at the 1968 LC. Anglican and Episcopal History (June 2022): in “Anglicanism, the Lambeth Conferences, and International Relations in the Twentieth Century,” Dr. ANDREW CHANDLER discusses the atomic age and the expressed fears at the 1948 LC. Anglican and Episcopal History (June 2022): gives the history of the first black Episcopal Church founded in 1792, staffed by Absalom Jones, first a deacon and then Presbyter. The musical service is discussed with yadi-yadah about global and ethnographic music. Standard Bearer: (July 2022): in “Synod 2022,” Rev. Engelsma discussing the seminary issues and a failed overturn by an individual to Synod. Standard Bearer (June 2022): updates, gloriously, are given about the healthy, continuing Christian schools of the PRC. This is how it should be done rather than turning children over to state schools. Table Talk (August 2022): discusses the 8th and 9th commandments closely allying with the WLC and WSC. Very nice, but may it be noted that the 10 commandments are rarely, if ever, heard anymore. Bibliotheca Sacra (Jan-Mar 2021): in “A Chronology of the Life of Christ with Emphasis on the Nativity and Epiphany,” Kurt Simmons, J.D., discusses the time of Christ’s presentation in the Temple (Luke 2) in relation to the trip to Egypt (Mt.2.1ff.)
