Warriors and defenders of the verbal, plenary, divinely inspired, canonical Scriptures: Clement of Rome, Clement of Alexandria, Hippolytus, Origen, Justin Martyr, Athenagoras, Gregory of Nyssa, Chrysostom, Irenaeus, Caius, and Augustine (for starters, yeah, the whole early church to a man, even Theodore of Mopsuestia).

(2) Those libboes singing the hot Lutheran music of Bultmann will toss Bultmann for the inspired Scriptures, among other hot libboe musicians dominating the sidelines in their decline. The people in the pew of these parishes have been robbed by "defamation," "burglary," "arson" and "theft." Time to flush out the infiltrator-snakes in the Garden, to wit, the unbelieving academics (again), like Marcion and others of his crew.
PRACTICAL THEOLOGY: "Time for rifle practice on the rifle range." Time to get the "expert markmanship medal."
