11 May 1942 A.D. HALIFAX, NS: HMCS GALT (K-163) Passes “Work Ups”

May 11, 1942: The first Royal Canadian Navy ship to complete an organized and coordinated ‘work-ups’ in Canada is the Flower Class corvette HMCS Galt (K163).  She completes her seven-day programme in Halifax.
