September 1532 A.D. Cranmer returns to England after a 2nd ambassadorial round on the Continent

(N.B. we have a pending issue with this date.)

Bromiley, G.W. Thomas Cranmer: Archbishop and Martyr. London: Church Book Room Press, 1956.

Prof. Bromiley advises the following re: Thomas Cranmer’s ambassadorial duty and travels (21).

(Aug, Sept, Oct?) Autumn, 1532. Cranmer follows Charle V’s court and the Imperial forces to Vienna, Villach, and Mantua.

This appears to be his second trip to Continent for ambassadorial duty in behalf of the “King’s Great Matter.” (Cf. Parker Society, II, 231-236).

By January 1533, things will begin moving with speed and alacrity—William Warham’s death (CANTUAR), Henry’s quiet marriage to Anne Boleyn (offline, yet married to Catherine of Aragaon), Anne’s pregnancy in Jan 1533, Tom’s fleeting up to CANTUAR in Mar 1533, Tom’s “doing the legal deed" of annulment and bastaridization of Mary and more over a very troubling timeline in Apr 1533 at "Annulments R'Us," Anne Boleyn’s coronation in May 1533 with a protruding belly, and Elizabeth 1’s birth and baptism in Sept 1533). Oy vey!
